CMA Fest Kicks Off at Nashville’s O Gallery
Written by tessatowne on May 22, 2014
Country artist Jackie Arredondo will be center stage at one of the kickoff events for the 2014 CMA Fest at Olga Alexeeva’s O Gallery. The Tuesday, June 3, event will feature Arredondo perfoming unplugged hard on the heels of her EP release Just Call Me… Jackie (which is aired on GDPR Nashville).
Jackie Arredondo is also doing good: The artist, who told me she is proud to be one of the nation’s few Latina country music performers, will autograph and donate a pair of her boots to the CMA Fest’s Celebrity Auction. Proceeds raised by the annual auction will benefit CMA’s Keep the Music Playing effort to support arts education in public schools. You go, girl! (We have a soft spot for artists who use their gifts to do good!)
Accompanying Jackie at her CMA Fest show will be Nashville guitarists Josh Zolten and Noah Bellamy.
O Gallery at Marathon Village is at 1305 Clinton St. Ste. 120; the show runs from 6-8 p.m. Tickets are $15 and available by calling 615-426-7214. You can also purchase them online via www.jackiearredondo.com.
