On July 4, 2008, Ken Schneck sat on a curb on Main Street in Brattleboro, VT, to watch a tiny Independence Day Parade. Seeing a small group handing out fliers about the local radio station gave Ken a thought: “Hey, there should be a gay show.” And This Show is So Gay was born. The Cleveland-based weekly show features interviews with LGBT-community newsmakers and performers that leaves listeners with a challenge: Use your voice the way you know how to use it to make a difference for your LGBT and ally brothers and sisters. And while doing it, remember, why be gay when you can be… SO gay!

WOODSONGS OLD TIME RADIO HOUR
The WoodSongs Old-Time Radio Hour, created, produced, and hosted by folksinger Michael Johnathon, is an all volunteer-run, nonprofit organization, and is a worldwide multimedia celebration of diverse types of grassroots music. Each weekly episode is filmed and recorded in front of a live audience in Lexington, KY. WoodSongs is not a concert, but a one-hour musical conversation focusing on the artists and their music.
